A Sense of Nostalgia

The development of this product has lead made me to feel nostalgic.
It was the first sewing project I started, almost exactly four years ago today. To see the product, conceptualised the way it is now, makes me beyond proud.
More recently, I have found myself reminiscing not only on the growth of this project, but my own personal transformation. Perhaps it’s turning 21, or moving out of home, and stepping into the full weight of adulthood. I vividly remember parts of my childhood, when joy and happiness could be found in the smallest of things. Without all the outside noise and pressures of society. Back when there was an innocence in my eyes, a purity in how I viewed the world, where even the mundane could be magical.
This project, in many ways, has rekindled that feeling. It has reminded me of the childlike wonder that so often fades with time. And perhaps that’s the true goal of all creation — to reconnect us with past versions of ourselves.
At its heart, creativity is an act of self-expression, a reflection of who we are and what we hold close. It should be free from the constraints of expectation, untouched by the rules we typically impose. There is no right or wrong way to create. The only true guide is the pursuit of joy, and of authenticity.
So, pursue what ever brings you joy and chase it with no remorse.
