A brand and life update
It has been a little while...
Hey everybody,
My life has been changing and evolving rapidly over the past few months. A lot is different about me and the structure of my life, but for the better! As a result, the brand has to adapt and a few things will look and function a little differently.
MACRAE (Studios)
The vision to hand make every product for the brand is not sustainable long term. I am not able to provide you guys with ‘affordable’ products, and unable to scale them and meet demands. So, going forward, I am working on developing the ‘perfect’ balance. At the core, my passion is all things sewing, so I will always be making the brands samples. As well as small hand made drops, 1of1’s, reworks etc…
Slow fashion is still at the core, and products will be incredibly detailed and thought out. But using manufacturers allows me to bring the price down and increase the scale of products!
Pleated Shorts are being sampled with a manufacturer in Japan, more information will be made available shortly!
Rework Flannels
My first drop and iteration of my rework line drops this Friday (06/09)!
The goal of these clothes that I rework comes from a genuine passion and desire to keep clothes and fabric out of landfill. My goals are to make reworked garments that I know will be loved - and that comes from taking and seeking inspiration in other creatives. More to come soon!
Sample Sale
I will be running a sample sale soon! Items consist of variations of the pleated shorts, baggy denim shorts and tsuno bags. For those interested, pieces I am selling can be seen in various videos across my tiktok!
